A Pancreatic Cancer Roadmap - Guidance for Patients & Families

An educational conference to empower patients and families affected by pancreatic cancer where we’ll explain genetic and lifestyle risk factors and screening, current treatment standards, and practices for best quality of life.

The doctors and scientists of the Brenden-Colson Center for Pancreatic Care are working every day towards earlier detection and better treatments for pancreatic cancer. In this conference, participants will learn about the latest research progress both at OHSU and nationally and how to find accurate information and support resources.

OHSU physicians and researchers who specialize in pancreatic cancer will present short lectures and lead question and answer sessions throughout the morning. Topics covered will include risk and early detection, drugs in use and in testing, nutrition and muscle maintenance, pioneering research projects, and where to find more resources.

This conference is free but advance registration is required as space is limited. Current patients, survivors, their family members, those who have a history of pancreatic cancer in their family or those interested in pancreatic cancer research are invited to register.  Please register using the form at the bottom of the event page; it is helpful to us if each attendee (family member, etc.) is registered separately.  Thank you.
