In the latest installment of the Brain TLC Lecture Series, Lynne Shinto, N.D., Ph.D., a professor in the Department of Neurology at OHSU, will present her latest research on omega-3 and -6 fatty acids and how this might affect brain health and why diet matters in preventing dementia.

Dr. Shinto is the principal investigator on studies funded by the National Institutes of Health, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the OHSU Foundation that evaluate natural therapies for brain and emotional wellness.

Our NEW Location: The Rood Family Pavilion Conference Room, is located at street level, across from Mirabella Portland, on S.W. Curry Street. Go through double doors that have “Conference Center” above them just down from the parking garage elevator and doors on the corner of S.W. Bond and S.W. Curry.

Parking Validated: Park in garage levels 3 or 4 and take the elevator to the street level. Exit the double doors and turn toward the water away from OHSU (the next set of doors that enter the Rood Family Pavilion building are to the Conference Center). When you park, take a ticket and we will give you a coupon that you will use to leave for free.

We will have someone outside on the corner of S.W. Bond and S.W. Curry with the event title – BRAIN TLC - listed on a sign to assist.
