How to make and present a poster

You've done the research, now you need to pull it together for you Research Week poster! This seminar will present the key tips for creating and presenting a poster that will be memorable for all the right reasons. Presented by Jackie Wirz, Ph.D., assistant professor, OHSU Library.

This workshop, presented by Jackie Wirz, Ph.D., and 3MT winners Kate Leobold, Asia Mitchell, and Que Chen, is recommended for both Research Week oral presenters as well as Three-Minute Thesis competition participants.

This workshop, presented by Kimberly Beatty, Ph.D., is recommended for both Research Week oral and poster presenters.

How to network

Friday, Apr. 29, noon to 1 p.m., MRB 310

This workshop, presented by Mike Matrone, Ph.D., is recommended for both students and postdocs.

Poster Size 

Dimensions of the poster are around 48" x 36".

 

Oral Presentation

Presentations will be roughly 10 minutes long with an additional 5 minutes allotted for Q&A.
