William H. Wilson, M.D.

Background

Dr. Wilson, Professor of Psychiatry, focuses on person-centered adult psychiatry, flexibly integrating psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. Particular interests include psycho-oncology and the pharmacokinetics of long-acting medications. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. Honors include listing as a “Top Doctor” by Castle Connolly Medical, Ltd, inclusion in Marquis's Who's Who in America, the Exemplary Psychiatrist Award from the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the Mental Health Award of Excellence from the State of Oregon and the APA's Nancy Roeske Certificate of Excellence in Medical Student Education. Interests outside of psychiatry include the environment, animal welfare, social justice, and the performing arts.
