Background
Dr. Wilson is Professor of Psychiatry and Director of Inpatient Psychiatric Services at OHSU. He is an attending physician on the OHSU Psychiatric Care Unit as well as maintaining and active office practice devoted to general adult psychiatry, psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. He is an active teacher of medical students, psychiatric residents, and other health care professionals. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and is listed in Marquis Who's Who in America. He has received the Exemplary Psychiatrist Award from the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the Mental Health Award of Excellence from the State of Oregon, and the American Psychiatric Association' s Nancy Roeske Certificate of Excellence in Medical Student Education. Dr. Wilson is married with two children; Interests outside of psychiatry include the environment, social justice, and the performing arts.
