Background
Alina Tudorica, PhD, holds the position of Research Assistant Professor of Radiology. She joined the faculty in September 2008. Dr. Tudorica attended University of Bucharest, Dept. of Physics, where she graduated in 1992. She then obtained the doctorate in Nuclear Physics with Magna Cum Laude in May 2001. In the same year she graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a PhD degree in Physical Chemistry, with the emphasis in Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Dr. Tudorica has published nearly 15 peer reviewed journal articles and over 35 abstracts at national meetings. She is primarily interested in advanced clinical MRI applications of women’s imaging, in addition to MR body, cardiac and brain imaging. Dr. Tudorica is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, and the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine.
