Background

Dr. Elliot was the principal investigator for the ATHENA (Athletes Targeting Healthy Exercise & Nutrition Alternatives) study for young women athletes. She is currently the principal investigator of the PHLAME (Promoting Healthy Lifestyles: Alternative Models' Assessing More Effects) study among fire fighters. Her clinical areas of focus include health promotion, adolescent athletes, muscle disorders, obesity research and primary care general internal medicine.
