Background

Dr. Edmunds specializes in treating adult and pediatric glaucoma, with a special interest in complicated cases and the surgical management of cataracts and glaucoma. She received her M.D. from the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and did her residency training in the United Kingdom. She took fellowship training at Moorfields Eye Hospital and King's College and St. Thomas' Hospital, London, and undertook research for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists into the practice of trabeculectomy in the UK. Her research interests include epidemiology, glaucoma surgery, and the optic nerve in glaucoma.
