About

The OHSU Proteomics Shared Resource facility is located in 700 sq. ft. of laboratory space in the Medical Research Building on Marquam Hill and is fully equipped to perform protein identification, expression analysis, and structural investigations using protein chemistry and mass spectrometric techniques. Samples from off campus organizations are also accepted, however different rates may apply. We offer several different services to labs, both at OHSU and around the world.

For some examples of what we can do for you see our Services and Costs page. We also advise consulting with us prior to starting an experiment to increase your chances for success. This is especially important for procedures, such as identifying Post-Translational Modifications, which can otherwise have a low success rate. An overview of how we perform each of these analyses can be found in the guide to Mass Spectrometry Based Proteomics in the educational portion of our website.
