The Histopathology Shared Resource is a College of American Pathologists (CAP) and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) accredited core facility that provides investigators with histology services critical for the progress of biomedical research.  Additionally, we provide investigators with consultation and education in regard to best use of histopathology services.

Our core provides support for researchers as well as the following groups:

OHSU Knight Cancer Institute Biolibrary

A service organization of human specimen collections supported by dedicated staff whose goals are to establish best practices by which biospecimens and related data are collected, stored and distributed

Integrated Genomics Laboratory

Home to shared genomics technology resources and support services for structural and functional genomics studies

OHSU Knight Cancer Immune Monitoring & Cancer Omics Program (IMCO)

Provider of comprehensive offerings of state of-the-art research and CLIA assays generating data that leads to improved or new standards in patient care.

Shared Resource Acknowledgement

Please remember to acknowledge use of the Histopathology Shared Resource in talks, posters, and publications which include data generated in the core lab.  The use of data generated in an OHSU core facility in a grant application, progress report or publication contains the implicit understanding that the PI or authors will acknowledge the use of the OHSU core facility.
