Gene Microarray Shared Resource
The mission of the Affymetrix Microarray Core is to provide basic research and clinical investigators with high quality, state-of-the-art microarray services in a timely fashion. The Gene Microarray Shared Resource (GMSR) facility provides RNA expression profiling and DNA Variation Analysis services using Affymetrix GeneChip® and Illumina BeadChip oligonucleotide arrays. DNA Variation services include genome wide SNP genotyping, copy number, and LOH detection.
Through rigorous standardization of protocols and multiple quality control checks, the Affymetrix Microarray Core provides high quality expression and SNP array data to the OHSU basic research and clinical community. Services are also available to non-profit/commercial investigators located in Oregon and elsewhere.
