NEW GMSR Website
To better present the most current genomics-related research and service options available through the Gene Microarray Shared Resource (GMSR), a new GMSR website was launched in June 2009. ONPRC Array Publication
Congratulations to Cecily Bishop and colleagues for their 2009 publication in Molecular Human Reproduction on The effects of luteinizing hormone ablation/replacement versus steroid ablation/replacement on gene expression in the primate corpus luteum. The study was performed in the Gene Microarray Shared Resource (GMSR) and utilized the Affymetrix Rhesus Genome Array. Please see our comprehensive list of publications from GMSR customers.
GMSR Publication using Whole Blood Samples
The Affymetrix Microarray Core unit of the GMSR, along with colleagues at the OHSU Casey Eye Institute, recently published a methods optimization study in BMC Genomics for whole blood sample storage and processing for use in microarray experiments: Gene expression profiling of whole blood: Comparison of target preparation methods for accurate and reproducible microarray analysis.
