Semiquantitative Determination of Elemental Content

When you have a sample of unknown composition ICP-MS has the capability of quickly determining the sample’s composition and an estimated concentration of more than 70 elements at one time on almost all elements heavier than Sodium (Z ≥ 11), with an accuracy of +/- 30% or better on completely unidentified samples.
