Phil Stork: cell background

This artwork was created by Vollum senior scientist, Philip Stork, for a project on signal transduction.

The large images highlight different stages of an attempt to generate a textured background for the inside of a cell. The smaller images represent initial draft, intermediate and final stages in the development of two cellular components.

Original prints are currently on display outside the Vollum M1441 seminar room.
