Clinical Trials

Clinical trial data collection and analysis

The ORCATECH technology platform is a powerful tool designed to provide crucial information relating to participants’ health metrics over time. These health metrics can assist clinicians and developers of medical products (both device and pharmaceutical).

The breadth, fidelity, and granularity or resolution of the data collected by the platform cannot be obtained through conventional patient-health-providers’ interactions during typical brief episodic visits to the doctor or emergency department. Further, the quality of the information collected during such occasions, is not only limited by the length of the interaction, but by the patient’s memory or perception of events, during an interaction that transpires in an often emotionally uncomfortable setting.

The technology platform is supported by clinicians and technical assistants from our team who professionally manage participants’ recruitment and perform all the required-in home personal interactions and medical exams. Clinical experts, each in their respective field, are engaged in the entire process and synthesize clinical conclusions and actionable outcomes from the multi-dimensional information created.

How ORCATECH collects and analyses data

A model graph showing our the ORCATECH technology system collects and analyses data. Algorithms analyse sensor data to detect change in a individual's behavior and activities.

Specific health outcomes

ORCATECH's technology platform was designed to look at specific health outcomes, such as:

  • Medication Adherence
  • Mobility
  • Cognition
  • Sleep
  • Pain
  • Socialization
  • Behavioral Health

These health outcomes have been investigated across a variety of medical conditions, including:

  • Alzheimer's Disease
  • Parkinson's Disease
  • Chronic Pain Disorders
  • Multiple Sclerosis
