Middle School Teachers

Teacher Institute for the Experience of Science (TIES)

The ONPRC partners with OHSU to provide professional development for middle school teachers through the TIES program, funded by the NIH. Selected teachers earn a stipend for 3-weeks of study at OHSU and the ONPRC. Additional information and application materials are available at the TIES website.

High School Teachers

Partners in Science

This program is administered by The Murdock Trust, provides a generous stipend for high school science teachers to participate in research programs in area laboratories during two consecutive summers. Mentors at ONPRC are identified in early October, and application to the Murdock Trust is due by December 1st each year.
