CTRC Guide: Locations

Descriptions of Clinical Spaces and Hours of Operation

 

The CTRC currently has two locations available for participant care.

  • Multnomah Pavilion 2SE (MNP 2SE)
  • Hatfield Research Center 10D (HRC 10D)

Multnomah Pavilion 2SE

Known as 2SE, this location has been the home of our research nursing activities for over 30 years.

Facilities available on 2SE include:

  • 6 bed inpatient hospital unit - 5 private rooms, and one room with 2 beds suitable for 2 participants, a participant with caregiver, or a family.
  • 2 large multipurpose rooms with 2 infusion chairs each.
  • A small lab processing area.
  • Stocked kitchen.


Services in this location:

  • Inpatient Beds for overnight accommodation of research participants.
  • Phlebotomy and specimen collections
  • Vital signs and physical measurements
  • 12 Lead EKG
  • Point of Care testing
  • Clinic space
  • Medication Infusions
  • Pharmacodynamic studies
  • Pharmacokinetic studies
  • After hours care for outpatients such as phlebotomy and specimen collection, physical measurements and other simple procedures when our outpatient areas are closed.
  • Procedure/exam rooms (for procedures or testing by study staff with participants).

 

Hatfield Research Center 10D

Known as 10D, this location on the 10th floor of the Mark Hatfield Research Center (HRC) building is an outpatient clinic setting.

 

Facilities available on 10D include:

  • A waiting area
  • 7 exam rooms
  • Procedure room
  • Phlebotomy area
  • Adjacent to the OCTRI Core Laboratory

10D is open 0700 - 1530 M-F and is staffed by a Research Assistant and an RN.
