New Bioinformatics Services

Starting July 1st there are new fee-for-service bioinformatics support available to OHSU investigators. Researchers can choose from two tiers of service 1) flat-fee based QA/QC and alignment, and 2) hourly rate analytical support. In addition OCTRI Translational Bioinformatics Program will provide consultations regarding experimental design, data management and dissemination free of charge for FY18. Read more here.

OCTRI Scholar Makes and Impact

Rebecca Spain

Rebecca Spain, M.D., M.S.P.H recently published the results of her OCTRI support pilot study suggesting the over-the-counter antioxidant lipoic acid may improve the lives of patients suffering from multiple sclerosis. The findings from this randomized double-blind study are being used to design the expanded multi-site clinical trial that will begin later this year. Read more here.
