AHRQ T32 Health Services Research Award: Predoctoral Program
Eligibility
Students eligible must be enrolled in a doctoral program at OHSU such as the MD, DMD, DNP, PharmD, nursing PhD and graduate PhD track programs. Students should propose a research experience under the guidance of a mentor or mentors. The experience must be a health services research project as defined above.
Applicants are expected to take part in full-time research for 12 months in addition to participating in an approved master’s degree program. This degree must be awarded either before or with the doctorate. Tuition may be partially or entirely paid by the program dependent upon the master’s program selected and timeline for completion.
At the time of appointment to the training program, individuals selected to participate in the training program must be citizens or non-citizen nationals of the United States, or have been lawfully admitted to the United States for permanent residence and have in their possession an Alien Registration Receipt Card (I-151 or I-551) or other legal verification of admission for permanent residence. Individuals on temporary or student visas are not eligible for support. In addition, trainees must be able to commit full-time effort in the program at the time of appointment.
Support
The T32 pays a yearly stipend of $21,600 plus benefits. In addition, students receive $2,200 for research support.
