Child Health Research
OCTRI’s commitment to child health research extends from pilot project funding to representation on the national CTSA Child Health Oversight Committee. OCTRI provides unique support to child health and pediatric research through the Pediatric Clinical and Translational Research Center in Doernbecher Children's Hospital. The PCTRC offers a dedicated inpatient and outpatient unit in Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, RN study coordinators, and Bionutrition Unit services. Additionally, all of OCTRI's resources are available to child health & pediatric researchers.

OCTRI Child Health & Pediatric Pilot Projects
OCTRI and the Department of Pediatrics released a child health pilot project RFA in October 2008. Twenty-four letters of intent were submitted, 11 applicants were invited to submit full applications, and three projects were funded. The following list includes those three projects and additional child health projects were funded in previous pilot funding cycles.
