Neuromuscular Disease Center
The Neuromuscular Disease Center at Oregon Health & Science University provides diagnostic evaluations and Principal Care services for patients with disorders of the peripheral nervous system and muscles. Diseases include:
- myasthenia gravis and Lambert Eaton Syndrome
- myotonic dystrophy
- facioscapulohumeral muscle dystrophy
- Inflammatory myopathies (such as polymyositis, dermatomyositis, inclusion body myositis)
- mitochondrial myopathies
- metabolic myopathies (such as Pompe, Debrancher, and MCardle's diseases)
- neuropathies (hereditary, inflammatory, diabetic, metabolic, toxic, painful peripheral, and others)
- muscular dystrophies (FSH, Duchenne, Becker, limb-girdle,myotonic, oculopharyngeal)
- spinal muscular atrophy
- post-polio syndrome
- and other related disorders.
