Patricia Kramer, Ph.D.
Biomarker and Genetics Core Associate Director/Professor of Neurology
BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Kramer served as Core Leader of the Layton Center Genetics Core from 2003-2008, and is currently Associate Core Leader of the Biomarkers and Genetics Core.
Dr. Kramer is a genetic epidemiologist with a primary interest in the genetics of Alzheimer's disease and healthy aging. She currently leads a multi-Center research program designed to identify genes associated with the neuropathological correlates of dementia, as well as the ability to maintain cognitive function in spite of the presence of these features.
