James Calvert, M.D.
Associate Professor, Family Medicine
Dr. Calvert has been a member of the OHSU Department of Family Medicine since 1992. He works at the OHSU rural family medicine training program in Klamath Falls, Oregon. He teaches residents, sees patients, works in the hospital in Klamath Falls, and, since 1998, he has collaborated with the OHSU Department of Neurology on community-based research studies involving the elderly in Klamath Falls.
Dr. Calvert’s interests include improving the education of rural physicians, as well as medical students and residents, regarding medical care of elderly persons. He has done research regarding centenarians in Klamath Falls and the use of technology by the elderly.
