Mission and Goals
OHSU UCEDD Mission
The UCEDD works in collaboration with other State agencies and other UCEDD organizations across the country to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities or special health needs.
Through leadership and effective partnerships with individuals, families, communities, and public and private agencies, UCEDD strive to serve as an exemplary local, state, and national resources through excellence in interdisciplinary education, clinical practice, research, community service, and policy development.
OHSU UCEDD Goals & Objectives
The major goal of the ADD Core Grant is to provide administrative support for the Institute on Development & Disability's University Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD). In addition, The ADD Core grant promotes and enhances the overall mission and activities of the national office, the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD).
The UCEDD Core provides ongoing leadership, program evaluation, and support for increased research and development to enhance the lives of people with disabilities.
