Miyoung Lee, PhD biography
Dr. Miyoung Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nutrition and Exercise Science at Oregon State University. Her research interests are solving measurement issues of physical activity in persons with disability. Recently, she has developed and investigated the accuracy of “FITME” model to extend the compendium of physical activity for persons with disabilities. Dr. Lee has published several peer-reviewed articles as an author or co-author and has presented many papers at conferences. In addition, she has been the Principal Investigator of two research projects related to physical activity in persons with disabilities funded by internationally recognized organizations, which are American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD) Seed Grant and Carl V. Gisolfi Memorial Research Fund of American College of Sport Medicine (ACSM) foundation.
