CDRC follows Federal and OHSU Cost Sharing guidelines. Cost Sharing is a portion of the costs of a project not borne by the sponsor, for example, when a department shares in the costs of funding the project. Cost Share approval must be secured during the Pre-Award process at time of submission.
Please note that all expenses charged to a grant must be allowable per OHSU and Federal guidelines. This includes expenses charged to a Cost Share account.
After a CostShare Account has been setup, it is necessary to track its progress throughout the period of the project.
- If funded, PI monitors Cost Share requirement to ensure the requirement will be met by the end of the budget period.
- All Committed Cost Share are reflected in Effort commitment and the Effort Certification Statements.
