The IDD Harvest Hustle 2016

The Harvest Hustle is the annual fundraiser for IDD, with all proceeds going to programs that directly enhance the lives of children and families who experience disability. Each year, IDD selects a handful of programs to be the beneficiaries of the Harvest Hustle, and this year the funds raised at the event will go towards four IDD programs: (1) Camp Odakoda - a sleep away camp for children 10-18 who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder; (2) Camp More - a sleep away summer camp for teens who stutter; (3) Go Baby Go - a national, community-based research, outreach, and design program that provides custom modified ride-on cars to children who experience limited mobility; and (4) the CDRC Hearing Aid Bank - a hearing aid loan program for infants and children throughout Oregon and SW Washington.

This year there were a total of 943 participants, and over 1,000 people in attendance at the Harvest Hustle, making it IDD's biggest turnout to date!

The IDD Transition Fair

IDD recently held its 3rd annual Transition Fair, a free event emphasizing a holistic approach to adolescent transition for young people (ages 12-26) who experience disability. This year we were fortunate enough to have Oregon State Senator Sara Gelser as our keynote speaker. Below is a recording of her presentation, for those in who unable to attend.
