Course Description

As the pace of work and life becomes increasingly fast, work stress becomes an issue for more and more workers and their employers. In particular, aggressive behaviors from others at work, such as insults by clients or colleagues, are a common source of stress among workers in many industries. Those behaviors are responsible for increased worker health problems and turnover, increased workers’ compensation claims, and decreased worker productivity.  More and more employers realize that reducing and preventing aggressive behaviors towards their workers can be an effective way to retain talented workers and maintain their productivity. These sessions will present cutting-edge research and practices on the topic of managing workplace aggression.
