ABOUT
The Oregon Healthy WorkForce Center (ORhwc), a NIOSH Center of Excellence, is a collaboration of Oregon Health & Science University's (OHSU) Center for Research on Occupational and Environmental Toxicology (CROET), Portland State University's (PSU) Occupational Health Psychology (OHP) program, the Center for Health Research (CHR) and the University of Oregon's Labor Education Research Center (LERC).
The ORhwc’s theme is Intervention Effectiveness, focused on:
- team-based and technology-based interventions to promote and protect health, all crafted with attention to translating research to practice
- improved social support and reduced job stress--that will in turn produce improved lifestyle choices, safer work practices, and better psychological and physical health.

Occupational Health Psychology Summer Institute
July 16-19, 2012
We are excited to announce the 1st Annual Occupational Health Psychology Summer Institute presented by Portland State University, OHP Program, OHSU - CROET, Oregon Healthy Workforce Center, and Saint Mary's University, Halifax, CN Center for Occupational Health and Safety.
This year's Summer Institute will be held in Portland, Oregon and will feature renowned researchers and practitioners in the field of safety research and practice and occupational health. Registration opens March 1st, 2012.
