Graven discusses health care workforce, pricing at Willamette event

Thanks to reforms in the Oregon Health Plan and Affordable Care Act, Oregon has 362,000 new Medicaid patients, plus another approximately 32,000 person with new commercial health care coverage through the Cover Oregon insurance exchange. How does this unprecedentedly speedy growth mesh with trends in Oregon's health care workforce and competition among hospitals and other providers?  CHSE economist explored these relationships in a talk February 27 at the Willamette University College of Law's event titled, "21st Century Healthcare: Can We Harmonize Access, Quality and Cost?"
