Four new staff join CHSE

CHSE welcomes four new staff to our ever-growing center.
Rani George, MPH, joins CHSE as a project manager for several research studies. Prior to joining the center, Rani worked with the Oregon Public Health Division on a study evaluating patient visits for hereditary breast and ovarian cancer. Rani has contributed to public health programs serving Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, county and state health departments and rural healthcare in India.
Peter Ip, MPH, currently operates as a research analyst for the center. Peter earned his MPH from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2015. Prior to joining CHSE, Peter worked as an Associate Data Scientist for GNS Healthcare, Inc. Peter has published his research in multiple journals.
Zoe Velie, BA, partners with the center as a Research Assistant II. Zoe recently graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. As an undergraduate she performed sociological research on women's reproductive health and has contributed as a writer and producer for NPR.
Marissa Hoover, MPH, is a project manager for the Washington All-Payer Claims Database (WA-APCD), which aims to improve health care transparency for the state of Washington. Prior to joining CHSE in September, Marissa worked in the Research Department for a large health insurance carrier in Chicago. Marissa holds a MPH from University of Illinois at Chicago.
