Stephanie Hemmingson
Title: Research Assistant
Experience: Stephanie received her BA in Chemistry and Physics from Kenyon College where she conducted undergraduate research on catalytic organometallic compound synthesis and spectroscopic characterization. Her current focus at AIRC is working with Dr. Wei Huang and Dr. Alina Tudorica on projects that include treatment monitoring of breast cancer and soft tissue sarcoma, as well as studies using DCE-MRI to identify suspicious breast and ovarian lesions. Stephanie played four years of collegiate softball and now coaches high school-aged girls in the Spring and Summer. She occupies the rest of her spare time hiking, river-rafting, gardening, and baking.
