Specific Aims Workshop

Do you have a looming proposal deadline? Do you need help clearly articulating your research goals? Then this workshop is for you. The objective of this workshop is to teach you how to write a concise, well-crafted specific aims page for an upcoming grant. It's open to all researchers at OHSU. 

Workshop details

  • There is no cost for this course, but it is limited to five participants.
  • Rough drafts of the aims must be sent one week prior to the workshop as a prerequisite for the workshop. This is a firm deadline. The aims do not need to be polished but they do need to be in document form.
  • The workshop is offered every other month. See below for upcoming dates.

  • Friday, February 17, 2012, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Mac Hall 2136)
  • Thursday, April 19, 2012, 1 to 5 p.m. (Biomedical Research Building 403)

Email Research Funding & Development with your name, department, phone number, type of grant you plan on submitting, the date you wish to attend, and a brief description of your project.
