About
Research Funding & Development Services: What we do
Research Funding & Development Services is a program within the Office of the Vice President for Research. We provide advice, consultation, and training for OHSU researchers--and serve as the communication hub for information related to grants, research administration, and other key tools for investigators. Here's what we do:
Help in the early stages of your proposal
- Keep you informed about potential funding opportunities
- Help you strategize about your funding approach
- Manage the Limited Submission process
Help in the writing stages of your proposal
- Review and discuss your proposal to help make it more competitive
- Offer workshops and training for proposal writing
- Assist with letters of institutional support and boilerplate
Help prepare for your next proposal
- Keep you up to date on the latest from NIH and other federal and private funders, from OHSU Research Administration, and other important info
- Offer workshops and training for all aspects of grantsmanship
- Manage the OHSU Presidential Bridge Funding program
We work closely with other offices in Research Development & Administration, such as RGC (pre-award) and SPA (post-award) and with the OHSU Foundation.
