Visit the eIACUC login page.
To register for the first time please access the eIACUC application. You will see a "Registration" link on the upper right side of your screen (or the Register icon on the middle of the page). All OHSU employees with a valid employee id number may use the Registration from this link. Shortly after submitting the OHSU employee registration form, you will receive an email containing your username and temporary password.
We have a non-OHSU researcher participating in our studies. How can we register him/her with the eIACUC?
For those employees without employee id numbers (Outside Investigators) they would click on the link OHSU Employee ID Request Form located at the Registration form page and complete the OHSU employee ID request form. This will begin the process to have an OHSU employee id number created, so that they may successfully register with the eIACUC. For those employees that complete the Non-OHSU registration form, your OHSU employee id number will be created within 48 hours from the date you submit your request and you will be automatically registered with eIACUC.
If your study's status is "Pre Submission" the PI of the study will have the option to withdraw it. If the study is in any other status and you would like to withdraw it please send an e-mail to us specifying the study number and a brief explanation and we will withdraw it for you.
Your eIACUC inbox only contains the items that require an action on your behalf. If your study was submitted it can be found under the "Protocols" tab in the "My Home" area of your eIACUC account.
The problem most commonly occurs when your screen resolution is very low and the browser window is too large to fit the screen. In order to resolve the problem please maximize your browser window and scroll down to the end of the page where the OK button is located.
Please double-check all the information you have entered. It is also important that you enter your name exactly as it appears in the OHSU HR records and in certain cases HR will have your middle name as your firstname. Another possibility is that your account was already created, in which case please contact the IACUC Office at (503) 494-494-8408 or email us in order to obtain your eIACUC username and password.
Please click on the "Clear" link located below or next to the radio button options.
Download eIACUC User Manuals.
Once you have logged in to your eIACUC account please click on the "My Home" link located in the upper right section of the page. Any items located in your eIACUC inbox require an action on your behalf. Once you have submitted your study it will disappear from your eIACUC inbox and can be found under your "IACUC Protocols" tab. You can also determine the progress of the review process by checking the status of your study. If you are uncertain what the status of a study means please contact the IACUC Office at (503) 494-8408 or email us.
Electronic signatures are already a crucial part of the eIACUC system. The eIACUC validates your authentication credentials and based upon your role in the eIACUC system determines which available actions you will have which in the real world translates for instance to only the PI being able to submit a study to the IACUC for review. Submitting of a study, in this example, is the electronic equivalent of a paper signature.

If your name is misspelled or otherwise incorrect in the eIACUC please e-mail us and we will contact HR in order for HR to correct your name in the HR database. The eIACUC will then automatically import the corrected name overnight.
If you have not found the answer to your question please contact the IACUC Office at (503) 494-8408 or e-mail us. Thank you for using the eIACUC!
