ORPRN has a successful track record of obtaining research funding for studies in rural Oregon.
Its studies use a variety of qualitative and qualitative designs, including some mixed methods approaches. Community-based participatory research and implementation science are particular strengths of ORPRN-run studies. The network also provides an ideal setting to answer questions through comparative effectiveness research.
