ORPRN is a statewide network of primary care clinicians, community partners, and academicians dedicated to studying the delivery of health care to rural residents and to reducing rural health disparities.
Our studies use implementation science and knowledge transfer methods to transform rural health care delivery.
Recent Research
Through its Shared Medical Decision Making project, ORPRN is working with six clinics around the state to implement the use of Decision Aids (DAs) and to study the impact and acceptability of DA use from provider, practice and patient perspectives. This project is funded by the Informed Medical Decisions Foundation.
