Oregon provider incentive programs your site may qualify for:
- Primary Care Loan Forgiveness Program: A loan forgiveness program for students who receive funding in exchange for a 1-3 year commitment in rural Oregon practicing primary care. Candidates in this program include primary care DO/MD, NP and PA.
- Scholars for Healthy Oregon Initiative: Another loan forgiveness program for students who receive funding in exchange for 3-5 year commitment in an approved underserved facility. Candidates in this program include primary care MD, NP, PA, DDS as well as Certified Nurse Anesthetists, Certified Nurse Midwives, Hospitalists and other MD specialists.
- Behavioral Health Loan Repayment Program: Is a loan repayment program to expand the behavioral health workforce in Oregon serving the underserved populations, located primarily in rural areas and cultural or ethnic communities that are underrepresented in behavioral health services.
