The Medicare Beneficiary Quality Improvement Program (MBQIP)

The Medicare Beneficiary Quality Improvement Program is a voluntary quality reporting and improvement program designed for Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs). By participating in this voluntary program, hospitals become eligible for additional grants and free quality improvement resources. Currently, all 25 of Oregon CAHs are participating in MBQIP.

The Office of Rural Health and the Oregon Healthcare Quality Network (ORHQN) provide technical assistance on MBQIP through:

  • Customized opt-in MBQIP Benchmarking
