PeaceHealth New Community Health Grants

PeaceHealth will award three $1,000 community grants to support breast cancer prevention and education programs as part of its sponsorship and support of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Eugene on Oct. 21, 2012.

These grants are available to nonprofit organizations in support of one-time activities related to breast cancer awareness and education.

Eligible applicants must be based in one of the following Oregon counties: Benton, Coos, Crook, Curry, Deschutes, Douglas, Jackson, Jefferson, Josephine, Klamath, Lake, Lane, Linn Lincoln, Marion, or Polk.

Applicants can include government agencies, tribes, health organizations as well as community-based agencies.

Recognition of awardees will be given at the Komen Eugene Race for the Cure on Oct. 21, 2012.
