The Flex Rural Veterans Health Access Program Funding Opportunity Announcement is now Available

The Federal Office of Rural Health Policy’s Office for the Advancement of Telehealth is pleased to announce the release of the Flex Rural Veterans Health Access Grant Program funding opportunity announcement.
The Flex Rural Veterans Health Access Program is designed to increase the delivery of mental health and other health care services to veterans living in rural areas through health information technology. Grant funds can be used for two primary focus areas:
- Telehealth networks providing clinical services to rural veterans and;
- Health Information Exchanges that support coordination of care between private providers and providers within the Veterans Administration network.
Only states (current Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility Program grantees in states with certified Critical Access Hospitals) are eligible to apply for three grants awarding approximately $300,000 per year.
