Office of Multicultural Health Funding Opportunity and Community Input Sessions
04/08/11 Statewide - Oregon
The Oregon Health Authority Office of Multicultural Health and Services, the Health Promotion Chronic Disease Prevention section, and the Northwest Health Foundation are working together to offer a funding opportunity.
The goal is to establish up to three Coalitions designed to address social barriers to health for under-served communities in Oregon.
The Office of Multicultural Health is holding Community Input Sessions for information sharing and feedback about this collaborative funding opportunity in your region in the second and third weeks of April. Input from these meetings, gathered from community partners and stakeholders will be considered for a Request for Grant Proposals (RFGP) at the end of this process.
Please sign up to attend a Community Input Session. You'll be asked to register, then you can pick the session(s) you'd like to attend.
There will also be a webinar for those interested parties who cannot attend a meeting in person. Space is limited. Reserve your Webinar seat now.
Please also view the background and rationale for the Coalition model. If you are able to attend one of these meetings, please review the two documents before the meeting. We will be answering questions about the background and rationale during these meetings.
Please note: Participation at this meeting is not required as a condition to apply for funding.
