CSRHA Launches ARRA Rural Resources Webpage, Rural Health Funding Matrix
04/05/10 California, Rural America
The California State Rural Health Association (CSRHA) has launched a webpage to serve as an information resource to California's rural communities interested in accessing federal funds available through the ARRA. These funds will be crucial to maintaining and ensuring the health and wellness of California's 5 million rural residents.
The site contains a Rural Health Funding Matrix adapted from Rural Health and the ARRA (NRHA, May 2009) and Selected Provisions Relevant to Rural Health Care in the ARRA (CSRHA, March 2009). The purpose of the matrix is to provide funding information in an navigable and comprehensive format.
The site also contains Federal and State background resources on the ARRA, funding information, links to categorical and broad analyses on the opportunities and impact of the ARRA, and critical websites to continually visit for up-to-date information.
