Call for Presentations

The Oregon Office of Rural Health is seeking Letters of Interest (LOI) for presentations at the 34th Annual Oregon Rural Health Conference, October 18-20, 2017, at Sunriver Resort, Sunriver, OR.

Interested presenters are encouraged to submit an LOI to the Oregon Office of Rural Health by February 10, 2017.


The annual Oregon Rural Health Conference is the largest gathering in Oregon dedicated to presenting innovative approaches to rural health care challenges. It brings together providers, administrators, advocates, policy makers and others concerned about health care in rural Oregon, providing an opportunity to exchange information, ideas, and expertise.

Presentation Topics

LOIs should propose presentations that inform attendees and/or share success stories and best practices as methods to address challenges affecting health care in rural Oregon. Presentations are NOT an opportunity to sell a product or service.

LOI Requirements

The LOI should be a maximum of one page and must include the following information:

  • Title and description of presentation topic
  • Presentation style (e.g., PowerPoint, facilitated discussion, panel, etc.)
  • Description of the significance of the topic and its relevance to conference attendees
  • Brief bio of proposed presenter(s)

All correspondence, including acknowledgement of receipt of submission, will be conducted electronically.
