WELCOME
Welcome to the Oregon Area Health Education Center. Although the AHEC Program Office is located at OHSU, we also serve the entire state of Oregon through our network of centers.
Through this Area Health Education Center (AHEC) network, we reach out statewide to improve the availability, continuity, and quality of health care for communities and populations in need through education. We do this through development of a well-prepared, high quality healthcare workforce for Oregon beginning with early childhood (K-16) education, through professional training, and into support for practicing professionals.
