Golden Rose AwardThe healthcare professionals at OHSU are dedicated to providing excellent care and service to every patient, every time. Whether you are calling to make an appointment or entrusting us with a surgical procedure, we want our delivery of care to always meet or exceed your expectations.

OHSU’s employee recognition program, the Golden ROSE Award, was established to encourage a culture of service excellence among all our staff. Employees who receive this award have provided exemplary service beyond the normal scope of their job.

The Golden ROSE Award is presented to five outstanding employees each month. Award winners are honored guests at a recognition party to which all OHSU employees are invited. Posters featuring photos of the winners and their stories of service excellence are prominently displayed in the hospital and on our Web site. We feel this program is a great way for OHSU to reward and encourage service excellence, as well as an ideal opportunity for patients who wish to express their thanks to an exceptional employee.
