Getting to OHSU Hospital
Main Lobby
OHSU Hospital is our main inpatient facility. The main entrance into the hospital off of S.W. Sam Jackson Park Road brings you to the main lobby, located on the 9th floor of the hospital. At the entrance, you will find the main Information Desk and Admitting area where you can check in. Also, located on this floor are the elevators to access other floors, gift shop, the It's All Good natural food store and an ATM machine.
From this main thoroughfare, you can access the Peter O. Kohler Pavilion and Portland Aerial Tram, the Hatfield Research Center and the Marquam Plaza Cafe, and skybridges to the VA Medical Center and OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital.
Parking
We recommend you park directly across from OHSU Hospital in the Sam Jackson Parking Garage on Levels 1 and 3 or use the metered parking on the top level.
Emergency Department Parking
If you are visiting the OHSU or Doernbecher Emergency Department, free valet parking is available at the main entrance to the Emergency Department (just past the OHSU Hospital entrance on the left on the bottom floor of Hatfield Research Center). Emergency Department valet parking is available seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Or, you can self park in the Sam Jackson Parking Garage across the street from the emergency room.
Valet Parking
Free valet parking is also available for patients, and for friends and family who are visiting patients who are in the hospital at the following locations:
Kohler Pavilion Garage Valet Parking
Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
After parking, take the parking elevators to the 9th floor of Kohler Pavilion and follow the directions to OHSU Hospital. An information desk is available at the top of the Portland Aerial Tram along the way.
Physicians Pavilion Garage Valet Parking
Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
After parking, take the parking elevators to the 1st floor of Physicians Pavilion and follow the directions to Sam Jackson Hall across Pavilion Loop. You can then walk across the street to the main entrance of OHSU Hospital. Information desks are available in the main lobby of Physicians Pavilion and Sam Jackson Hall along the way.
