Ultrasound and Fetal Monitoring
Located in the OHSU Perinatal Center
We are available for routine screenings and extra monitoring should any concerns arise during your pregnancy.
You and your care provider will decide how often you will have ultrasound screening. Typically, patients have an ultrasound screening in their first trimester and another at 18-20 weeks to check the baby’s growth, anatomy, position of the placenta, and amount of amniotic fluid around the baby (or babies).
Occasionally, if there is any concern for the health and development of your baby, you may visit fetal monitoring where we will monitor your baby's heartbeat and other vital signs.
