All of our doctors and certified nurse-midwives are dedicated to making your birth experience safe and joyful. Our appointment center can answer your questions and help you make your first appointments.
Obstetrician-gynecologists (ob-gyns)
Our Ob-Gyn doctors provide all-inclusive obstetrical care. Our ObGyn team strongly supports vaginal birth – including VBAC and some breech deliveries. Learn more
Certified nurse-midwives
Certified nurse-midwives at OHSU provide traditional maternity care and a group prenatal care option. Our nurse-midwives have a nearly 80% successful VBAC rate and are the only providers of waterbirth at OHSU. Learn more
Perinatologists (High-risk Obstetrics)
Perinatologists provide all-inclusive care and consultation for women with high-risk pregnancies. If you have risk factors that could complicate your pregnancy, you may choose or be referred to a maternal-fetal medicine specialist. Learn more

A family practice doctor can be your health care provider before, during and after your pregnancy, and your baby's doctor, too. Learn more
