Women's Health Meets High Fashion
The 4th Annual Nordstrom Fall Designer Preview runway fashion was a success with more than $54,000 raised for the OHSU Center for Women’s Health.

In collaboration with two rural hospitals in Ethiopia, OHSU doctors will provide medical training in key areas of women's health. Fundraising efforts are underway to support the program including two upcoming events.
2010 Circle of Giving Recipients Announced
Shoukhrat Mitalipov, Ph.D. and Paula Amato, M.D. are recipients of the 2010 Women’s Health Research Award. Drs. Mitalipov and Amato will receive $125,000 for their project of correcting mitochondrial gene mutations in human oocytes.
OHSU breast cancer researcher receives $275,000 grant from Avon Foundation for Women
SuEllen Pommier, Ph.D., will study the genetic defects that change normal breast stem cells into breast cancer stem cells.

The January 2010 issue of Portland Monthly magazine honored 97 OHSU physicians in its annual survey of Portland’s "Top Doctors." Center for Women's Health doctors among them include: Catherine Leclair, David Lee, Mark Nichols and Leonardo Pereira.
