Biography
Laurel is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Her wide nonclinical background—one that includes degrees in literature, study in international health and development, training in college level volleyball, and ample travel—shapes the way she approaches health and medicine. She believes that personal health is an evolving combination of physical, emotional, mental, family, and community health. And she believes in the achievement of wellness in a variety of contexts, including chronic disease, aging, and poverty. Laurel earnestly looks forward to working in partnership with her patients to achieve wellness.
